Little Passports
2015-2019
Little Passports is a direct-to-consumer children’s brand (ages 3-12) developing original stories and activities focused on geography, culture, science, and art.
I spent 4 years as a producer, writer, and editor at this <50 person startup building monthly subscription boxes* with hands-on projects, souvenirs, and more to inspire kids to learn about the world. Begin Learning later acquired the company in 2021.
*We shipped 15M+ boxes!
Science Expeditions
Built STEM kits for ages 8+
I managed content development, design, and production across all 24 science experiments kits end to end for on-time shipping to our customers.
I also produced (and hand modeled💅) for 12+ videos in the kits. Watch how I made a camera obscura or find more experiment videos here.

World Adventures
Educating ages 6+ one country at a time
I led content development and design for over a third of the line's 36 packages from ideation to shipping. Character-based narratives and culturally-inspired activities defined the product experience at Little Passports. It was my job to bring the packages to life in a fun and entertaining way that kids could relate to. Watch the infomercial to learn more about the subscription.

Early Explorers
Introducing ages 3+ to the wonders of the world
I've owned content development and design for product improvements across the line’s 24 packages. Designing for an age group that can’t read yet was particularly challenging as we sought the right level of difficulty, balancing a child’s autonomy vs. parental support to complete the activities. See what our characters Max and Mia have to say in their commercial.
